Clinical Development

Through its clinical test development in AML, Nodality validated that Single Cell Network Profiling (SCNP) can predict whether patients will respond to a particular therapy. Nodality partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to provide key information at many critical decision points including:

  • Dose and schedule selection
    • Measuring the functional status of pathways downstream of the target at various time points to determine the extent of biological coverage and specify dose response curves for multiple pathways and cell types
  • Patient selection
    • Discovering signaling signatures using SCNP to identify patients that are most likely to respond to specific therapeutics
    • Using early response data to validate a companion diagnostic test
  • Combination selection
    • Determining signaling signatures to predict which drug combinations (for example a novel drug candidate together with a standard of care therapy) will work in which patients

SCNP has been used successfully to profile networks in bone marrow, whole blood, and peripheral blood. SCNP analysis in oncology, immunology, and autoimmune disorders demonstrates the broad applicability of SCNP to multiple diseases and indications such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
